Shure SM137: Clutch Microphone Doesn't Back Down From High (Sound) Pressure Situations
January 23, 2009
Gerrymandered away from the KSM line, Shure shows the SM137 at Winter NAMM 2009. It's a sturdily built microphone with SPL levels stubborn enough to handle high-impact instruments like snare drums and even kicks, if you dare. Its flat low end gives way for a boost in the higher frequencies that also ensures good performance when miking guitar cabs.
