For all circuit bending enthusiasts who love the art but don't necessarily participate in it themselves, Sidsonic Libraries has released the Circus Circuit Bending Library (Mac / Win; 189 EUR or approximately $285). This sample library, powered by Kontakt Player, was designed to draw in musicians and sound designers to the art of circuit bending, and invite them to create their own circuit bent oddities without having to acquire the hands-on, technical skills that bent music usually requires.

The Circus Circuit Bending Library features 14 circuit bending instruments, 179 synth and drum kits, about 18,000 samples in total, a 36 page booklet, and more. The library is available in VST, Audio Units, and RTAS formats.

The customized Kontakt 3 Player is split into a Drum Module and Synth Module. The Drum Module includes five drum groups, an assortment of filters and insert effects per group, Send-FX, an Amp section with 2-band EQ and two filters, two AHDSR envelopes, and two LFOs. The Synth Module offers an assortment of filters, plus Insert-FX, Send-FX, two AHDSR envelopes with up to four targets, and two LFOs with six waveforms and up to five targets.
