With a stronger emphasis on double-time grooves, tom tom rhythms, and even some subtle side stick grooves for breakdowns, Punk Drum Loops V2 provides the finesse and flair that could take your punk rock drum tracks to the next level, Silicon Beats says.

In making this new loop library, Silicon Beats turned to the icons of punk music for inspiration: the Sex Pistols, Dropkick Murphys, Dead Kennedys, and others. According to the manufacturer, this drum loop pack has all of the essential grooves you need to build your own killer punk tracks.

Silicon Beats recorded drums in a large garage that was half empty (or half full, depending on how you look at it), with 10-foot ceilings. During mixing, the company included just enough of the room mics to give you that huge live drum sound while managing to retain clarity and focus on each piece of the drum kit.

To accommodate the different varieties of punk, this sample pack provides punk rhythms that spread a range of three different tempos, starting at 128 BPM for your pop style of punk and then moving up to 150 BPM and finally 170 BPM for a more aggressive punk vibe.
