By the end of this month, PC users can be the proud owners of the latest VST effect plugin from SKnote. FD4 is an easy-to-use compression plugin offering four different compressors in a single rack.

The plugin features multiple parallel compression with sample accurate mixing, four very basic compressors each with different character and saturation, and optional multiband mode. Although FD4's user interface is straightforward and rather plain, we have to give the company credit for keeping things simple, or as some people might say, keeping it real.
