SKnote Attitude Series Includes Unpolite, Shy, And Harmful VSTis
Need an outlet for your unpolite, shy, or potentially harmful ways? Then get your own personal attitude adjustment from the new SKnote Attitude series of simple synthesizers. Each of the three synth plugins -- Unpolite, Harmful, and Shy -- in the series address a specific attitude (effect) that can be controlled and fully programmed by a standard MIDI controller, without a shrink or professional counselor.
The first attitude, Unpolite, is the ideal choice for leads. This little synth is foul-mouthed and dual-voiced, with an overdrive but no filter. According to SKnote, this synth is based on discrete summation additive synthesis.
Harmful is best used for synthetic drums. It's mono-timbral (one track and one instance for each drum is needed), based on several algorithms such as additive, subtractive, frequency modulation. As one might expect, Harmful includes a limiter for "punch."
Next in line is Shy, a 20-voice synth ideal for pads. The polyphonic Shy synth, which is based on two-dimensional seamless wavetables and two-dimensional seamless filter maps, includes a multiple stereo chorus for stereo spread.
All three synths are available now as VST instrument plugins (Windows only) for 29 EUR or approximately $41 each. The next Attitude synth to be released is the Bully dual-voice bass synthesizer, which is currently in Beta testing. For more information, please visit the SKnote Web site.
