Boss SL-20 Slicer Brings Out Bill Holland's Inner Shredder
June 21, 2008
The ever modest Bill Holland exercises the lesser-utilized "guitar" side of his brain and demos the wicked-sounding Boss SL-20 Slicer effect pedal.
The SL-20 Slicer is hard to describe, but I'll bust into my emergency stock of hyphens and try: it's a MIDI-tempo-detecting sequenced-gater percussive-harmonizing-looper. You know what, just check out the demo.

ha!
looks like bill's been practicing (a little) since winter namm at the digidesign eleven booth! haha
yeah dude
I can play two chords! After this one, I'm going to try to learn some riffs for AES. Maybe some King Crimson. It's always good to start with the easy stuff.
Thanks for the demo
Wow...this thing seems totally lame...No chance I'll buy it now...thanks for saving me $200
