Danelectro Cool Cat CM1: This Is The Metal One, But Not The Other Metal One
July 09, 2008
We needed a little help telling the difference between all the flavors of distortion in the new Cool Cat effects pedal series from Danelectro, so company rep Danny Dugan was on hand to offer some practical, real-world examples. Fun fact: everyone who works for Danelectro is named Danny!
You know, somebody tried to give me a litter of Cool Cats once, but I didn't want them, so I put them in a sack and threw them in a river.

not a good showing
He shows us the pedal is capable of a bluesy tone and comments about the "over the top metal tone" that he doesn't show us. Something the pedal is expected to do. Not a very good showing of the pedal.
