On his final-day sweep of the Summer NAMM 2008 exhibitor's floor, GW's Britton Wetherald unearthed Pasadena's own Solid Cables, makers of, arguably, the highest all-around quality instrument and speaker cables in the world. Nial McGaughey, developer of the company's Dynamic Arc Ultra and Beta cables, went into detail with us about what goes into making an audiophile cable that can be used for live and studio patching, but could also serve as a quick patch for busted suspension bridge cabling.
