Tama SM1 and Tama AM1 Snare Drums: Like Fabolous, They're Loud, Yet Sensitive

July 03, 2008
Tama AM1 and SM1 Snare Drums

I wish my local alderman was as responsive to my needs* as Tama is to their customers. Seems rock and metal drummers were calling for a snare that was loud enough for heavy music, yet retained articulation and sensitivity. Tama responds by introducing the AM1 and SM1, a pair of 8" x 14" snares, made of maple and steel, respectively.

*Is a dedicated "cat run" in Oz Park really too much to ask for?
