Remember when visiting the barber meant a quick going over with an electric razor? (I don't really want to remember that, actually.) I also don't want to remember a time before auto-crossfades (or x-fades as I like to call them). Sonar adopted them a few versions back and it's about time they got some attention.
Even though Cakewalk users will sometimes complain about the lack of more fading options, Sonar does provide some very quick and easy ways to prevent the digital clicks caused by a lack of fading. Even though automatic zero-crossing edits are so common these days it is still worth taking a listen to the different fading options. Wanna talk about smooth? Let's talk about fades.
