Did you ever capture a stellar performance and then realize that it could be worthless unless you could sync it up with your sequencer? The Audio Snap Feature first introduced in Cakewalk Sonar 6 Producer Edition is ready to help you sync up that performance even if your tempo isn't exactly perfect.
In this screencast, Dan shows us the few simple steps we can take to match our host tempo to a raw performance. As you will see it is all about finding the right transients and know where the beat lands. Feed the info into Audio Snap and you too can have custom semi-free form tempo maps. It's a great way to get away from the robotic sound that straight tempos might introduce to your overall feel.
