Prompted by consumers who finally realized that they were tired of breathing in toxic auto emissions and paying $5 per gallon for gasoline, Ford announced their new hybrid cars this past month. Ironically, they unveiled them only after flying to Washington in a private company jet, thus using as much fuel for a quick journey as all of their employees use for the hour long commute to their plant in Dearborn, Michigan.

One of the key features in these new vehicles is an LCD screen with a plant that grows as you drive more efficiently (unlike Barry Newman in Vanishing Point). The Sonic Charge Synplant might not help you drive more efficiently, but it sure as hell is going to make you abandon all of your other software synths for at least a month.
