Sonic Lion LionChorus: The Lion Sweeps Tonight

August 05, 2009
Sonic Lion LionChorus

As the weeks pass by, it appears that the mother of the Sonic Lion pride is giving birth to new offspring, making it grow bigger each and every time we check them out. As you must have noted from the previous news items, Nitrox just gave birth to LionPhaser, already an impressive effect plugin by itself. Welcoming its latest addition to the pride, Sonic Lion LionChorus is bound to roar out in another dimension.

LionChorus, just like its sibling LionPhaser and its parent Nitrox, sports a similar interface which bears numerous parameters for you to adjust. Type allows you to select the modes by which LionChorus operates namely two-stage and four-stage chorus, and flange. Adjusting the rate and depth provides you with a lot of leeway to sculpt your sound from a standard chorus effect up to vibrato or tremolo. The delay can be adjusted from 1 to 50 ms. As a special aspect, the delay can also affect the original signal thus zero thru flanging is also possible.

If you're already familiar with Nitrox and LionPhaser, you will be able to manipulate Sonic Lion LionChorus's parameters in an instant, giving you a lot of room to create both standard and experimental effects. Sonic Lion LionChorus is available for free if you are a registered user of the Sonic Lion website (registration is free too). If you find great use for LionChorus in your music, you can drop a donation to Sonic Lion via PayPal.
