Sonic Lion LionPhaser: The Spawn Of Nitrox With Roaring Capabilities From Its Parent Synth To Any Signal You Desire

July 29, 2009
Sonic Lion LionPhaser

Sonic Lion's first synth called Nitrox, according to some internet resources, have been readily embraced by the softsynth user community. Free and very powerful, it surely is a great softsynth that can be at par with most commercial softsynths out there. Being that it has effect capabilities that are well appreciated, Sonic Lion decided to deliver Nitrox's first offspring. Sonic Lion LionPhaser has been borne out of Nitrox to deliver a powerful phaser for other applications.

LionPhaser is capable of the classical phasing effect plus offers a myriad of modulation options similar to what Nitrox has. If you are already familiar with the technical usage of Nitrox, LionPhaser will be easy for you to understand and use. According to Sonic Lion, it features an LFO with five waveforms, all of which can be synchronized in frequency and phase to the host and which implements pulse width modulation. To smoothen stepping waveforms, a stepper that can be synchronized and a glider is also present. Depth and offset control modulation as well applying a 180-degree phase shift is possible.

Just like its parent application, Nitrox, LionPhaser can be downloaded and installed free of charge for registered members of the Sonic Lion website. Registration, however, is entirely free, but if you enjoy using either LionPhaser or it's parent Nitrox, it's best if you can be kind enough to drop off a donation of your choosing via PayPal.
