AES Video: Sonosax SX-M32 Compact Mixer, SX-R4 Recorder

May 16, 2007
Sonosax SX-M32 Compact Mixer, SX-R4 Recorder

Swiss audio experts Sonosax show off their compact location-recording units in this video shot live from the floor at 122nd AES Vienna. First we get a peek at the SX-M32 3-channel mixer, then the intriguing SX-R4 recorder, sporting an internal HD as well as compact flash media.

Following that we see the MINIR82 recorder, that piles up eight digital and four analog inputs into a unit that fits in your pocket. Cool.

Next up is the SX62R, what appears to be an early prototype, combinging a six-channel mixer and digital recorder in a very lightweight mobile location-recording shoulder-mounted unit.
