The Sony C-800 GPAC is a microphone that most people will never see in person in an entire lifetime. Bill Holland is one of the lucky ones as he visited Chicago Recording Company to open up the grail.
CRC's Chris Shepard challenges us to find the price on eBay. I accepted his challenge, and found that it only costs $9,000 to buy one of these mics -- which I'll do next year following the great wealth redistribution.
