Sony Acid Pro 7: Lysergic Acid Diethylamide Still Big Hit In San Francisco
October 14, 2008
Yeah, yeah, I know. The San Fracisco / Sony Acid / LSD-use jokes are a bit recycled, but hey, Sony Acid is all about taking old clips, looping them and making them sound new again, right?
What's definitely new is Sony Acid Pro 7, and we were excited to check out the huge number of new features that really expand the capabilities of this once-groundbreaking application. Effects plugs and virtual instruments have been pretty seamlessly incorporated into the Acid GUI, and make it hard to think of Acid as merely a loop-based production tool.
