Spaun "Inferno" Signature Snare: Sounds Like Odin's Lightening Splitting The Trunk Of Yggdrasil
When you're drumming for a band called Behemoth, and that band plays the dense, heavy, super fast brand of metal known as Black Metal, you're going to need a snare that's huge, loud and aggressive. Luckily, "Inferno" -- said drummer for Behemoth -- was approached by the drum company known as Spaun (perfect!) with an offer to create exactly such a drum: behold, the "Inferno" Signature Snare.
Truly, this is one behemoth of a snare drum. Measuring 8x14 with a hybrid, 18-ply shell (10 outer plies of maple and 8 inner plies of birch), this snare is big enough to cut through any mix, or carry thirteen cubits of Viking Blood up a verdant dell.
To give you a better idea of the sheer girth of the Inferno Snare, here's a picture of Inferno himself (disguised as a mortal) holding his signature snare:

Keep in mind that Inferno is nearly 40 hands tall.
