Specimen Sopranocaster: Sawed-Off Convenience
October 28, 2008
While it may not look like the Specimen shop is hurtin' for space in these videos, as Ian Schneller contends, the workbenches do get a bit claustrophobic, and as much as he'd like to, he can't just bust out his five-neck Hamer Rick Neilsen tribute every time he needs to test a solder. That's when he had the idea for the Sopranocaster.
The Sopranocaster "shreds," and can fit easily on tour buses, in overhead compartments and under the long, poplin folds of a trench coat.
