Spectrasonics Omnisphere: One Button Action Thriller Soundtracks Only Scratch The Feature Surface

October 09, 2008
Spectrasonic Omnisphere At AES

Spectrasonics Omnisphere is finally here after much to-do, and after sampling lightbulbs, recording burning pianos, most likely traveling through time to capture some of the sounds we miss traveling through space at a constant velocity and carrying out a bunch of other inventive recording techniques that nobody in their right minds would even consider, we get a look at it. Diego Stocco, one of the main men behind all of the crazy work that went into the Omnisphere is able to give us a rundown on how to take advantage of all these complex, incredible sounds within the program, and I have to say that it's surprisingly intuitive.
