Spectrasonics Omnisphere, Spectrasonics Trilian 1.3: Software Update Provides New Features And Sounds
This coming month, you can update your Spectrasonics Omnisphere hybrid real-time synthesizer and Trilian bass module to version 1.3. The latest software update provides the virtual instruments with real-time performance sync capabilities, fresh sounds, and much more.
The new Latch and Trigger modes allow for real-time creation of complex, multi-layered performances with full synchronization between multiple Omnisphere, Trilian, and Stylus RMX parts without the need for the usual sequencing techniques.
Also with the 1.3 update comes new performance and live remixing functions, real-time quantization, and a faster way to create rhythmic envelopes. You can now Groove Lock envelopes in Omnisphere and Trilian from external sources and in turn, automatically create rhythmic envelope patterns by dragging standard MIDI files from Stylus RMX and dropping them on the Envelope displays.
Moreover, the update provides access to the VIP Omnisphere Library, a collection for users of both Omnisphere and Trilian that uses the core libraries of both instruments together with Omnisphere's advanced synthesis to create many new sounds. Specifically for Trilian users, all-new "produced" multis for the electric and acoustic basses are also included. Additional features, fixes, and enhancements are included, such as Sustain-2 mode, which allows even more realistic rock-style bass playing in Trilian; and Search Lock and Search Clear browsing features.
In addition to all the extra features and sounds, updated versions of the Omnisphere and Trilian reference manuals are included, as are new tutorial videos for Omnisphere and Trilian demonstrating how to make the best use of the new features.
The 1.3 updates for Omnisphere and Trilian will be available as free downloads for all registered users on April 20, 2010.
