February 26, 2010
Spectrasonics Omnisphere 1.2 features 64-bit cross-platform support and over 200 new Omnisphere patches.

Version 1.2 of Spectrasonics Omnisphere rounds out the virtual instrument with full 64-bit cross-platform support and over 200 new Omnisphere patches, for a total of about 7,000 sounds in the factory library.

The 1.2 update also adds enhanced features to the Steam Engine, including improved browser features, fresh synthesizer filter algorithms, the Sample File Server function that lets the instrument go beyond 32-bit memory limits on Mac OS X systems, a new Browser "Favorites" system with star ratings, "Projects" quick tagging for easy sound organization, triplets and dotted values in the Arpeggiator, and more.

The now Native 64-bit plugin is available as a free download for all registered Omnisphere users. Learn more at spectrasonics.net.
