So many things from the 80s are making a comeback these days -- crashing markets, aggressively militaristic Russia, leg warmers -- that the new SSL 4000e X-Rack modules are sure to be a big hit. These distillations and miniaturization of the classic SSL 4000 console EQ and dynamics modules defined the sound of me-generation pop. Did we mention Legos? 'Cause the SSL product rep certainly did. 80s legitimacy confirmed and cemented!
