SSL 6064e Console: The "Fischer Price" Of Studio Consoles

Hanging out in Chicago Recording Company's Studio 5, Chris Shepard runs into an old friend -- the studio's SSL 6064e mixing console. CRC has had their 6064e since 1985, and Chris talks about why, even though this board was originally designed for film audio-post, this console suits band recording so well. If you guessed that the three available stereo buses had something to do with it, you're probably Chris Shepard, and should have recused yourself from guessing.
