Introduced at the 129the AES show, the Solid State Logic Nucleus combines cross-platform DAW control with a pair of the same mic pres found on the company's big-boards, as well as a software suit of SSL plugins.

For those of you who run multiple satellite Gravity Studio Recorder units (for multi-camera video and audio coverage), SSL DV, a division of Solid State Logic, has released the MC software option that lends master control of up to three such units.

The driver architecture of the Solid State Logic Duende hardware plugin accelerator has been updated, allowing the Duende Mini or Duende PCIe to foist some of it's hardware plugin processing duties back to your computer's CPU. Some might call that "shirking," SSL calls it "sharing."
