With that in mind, the traditional two-channel DJ mixer has been re-thought of by Stanton to enable DJs to create seamless live mixes and other things a DJ fancies. Finally, the new and innovative Stanton SCS.3m Mixer Controller is now being shipped out to your local retailer.

The SCS.3m is the second half of the System 3 MIDI controller line that incorporates all the functions of a two-channel DJ mixer and adds in a host of new innovative performance features, all made possible via StanTouch touch sensitive technology. Featuring this proprietary touch sensitive function, the sliders can be used to tweak EQs on the fly, allowing DJs to incorporate different elements of a song within the mix as well as manipulate effects parameters all in just one interface. StanTouch also give the crossfader the ability to detect finger presses. Along with the traditional function of creating seamless blends, the crossfader allows quick transform effects to come into play. Other transport controls can be handled by the SCS.3m via multicolor buttons such as starting and stopping playback, EQ kill, setting loops, or engaging effects without the need for a separate trigger controller. Visual indicators are always in sync 100% with applications supporting MIDI feedback. Having that unique flat touch-sensitive surface also frees DJs from the worry of wear and tear as there no longer are any moving parts to break.

Impressive being itself, the SCS.3m can be used as a standalone controller for basic software mixes, but use it with the other half of System 3, the SCS.3d deck controller, you get to have a completely mobile MIDI controller setup that allows you to plug and play without all the troubles of lugging a ton of DJ gear.
