If you're using Discovery Pro, chances are that you know how to make your own presets or you'd be using Discovery Amateur, but there are several reasons to use the Discovery Pro presets on Status Caffeine. Perhaps you're lazy or you accidentally bought the Pro version, or perhaps you just want to take advantage of a main bank featuring 125 sequenced presets, and you're not too self-involved to realize that the efforts of others might be of particularly good use to you.

Caffeine's main bank contains 78 multilayered presets, 16 arpeggiators and 31 melody lines. However, outside of the preliminary soundbank, there are two sub-banks, which in the financial industry, we refer to as branches. These include:

• arpeggiators/melody lines (127 presets)
• percussion (38 presets)
• bass (34 presets)
• efx (32 presets )
• atmos (20 presets)

Caffeine by Status is catered towards producers of trance / electro or electronica. In that sense, anyone can get into Caffeine if they want . . . except Mac users.
