Steinberg Nuendo: Tod A From Firewater And His Global Musical Perspective

June 06, 2008
Tod A Firewater Steinberg Nuendo

Tod A of Firewater did Paul Simon's Graceland one better. He recorded his band's new album by compiling percussion samples from Indian and Pakistan and mixing down in Tel Aviv. Simon only hit South Africa. Oh snap, whatchoo gonna do now Simon?

Tod A did most of the field tracking on his laptop with Nuendo, and in this video, he talks about why Nuendo is the DAW for him, and why the idea of international borders is an arbitrary construct that impedes total cultural cross-pollination, in so many words.
