Steinberg R’n’B, Steinberg Smooth House: Sequel Content Sets Feature Extra Audio Loops For Sequel 2
Two new Sequel Content Sets have been made available by Steinberg: R’n’B and Smooth House. Both Sequel Content Sets are comprehensive in size, offering hundreds of loops compatible with Steinberg Sequel 2 and Steinberg Cubase 4.5 and higher.
All content was crafted by professional audio producers, notes Steinberg, to complement the existing sound library that comes included with Sequel 2 software. Arranged into construction kits, the loops, beats, and everything else is easily accessible thanks to the smooth integration into the MediaBay, according to the manufacturer. Each set is a downloadable product (approximately 400 to 500 MB) for Mac OS X 10.5 / 10.6 and Windows XP / Vista / 7.
The R’n’B set is the more urban of the two, offering the right audio loops for producing R&B, urban music, hip-hop, and the like. This Sequel Content Set has 21 construction kits with 232 looped pianos, mellow strings, "spacious" synths, and smooth beats.
The other set, Smooth House has 203 loops ranging in style from deep house to funky disco to modern electronic beats. Smooth House would be the ideal set for creating disco house, club house, and similar styles of music. Its contents are organized into 19 easy-to-use construction kits, which are accompanied by demo songs that help you see (or hear) what you can do with the sounds.
These Sequel Content Sets join 15 others in Steinberg's lineup, for a total of 17.
The R’n’B and Smooth House Sequel Content Sets are available to download only from the Steinberg Online Shop. Each set is compatible with both Macs and PCs, and each one lists for $14.90.
