Steinberg RND Portico Plugins Released: RND Portico 5033 And RND Portico 5043
Rupert Neve put his stamp of approval on the two new Steinberg RND Portico plugins, RND Portico 5033 and RND Portico 5043. Now available, these plugins are exact digital copies of the original hardware signal processors.
Developed in cooperation with Rupert Neve and Yamaha, Steinberg's RND Portico 5033 and RND Portico 5043 plugins are based on Yamaha’s VCM technology and are said to deliver that unparalleled Neve sound that already brought some of the most successful records in music history to perfection.
The RND Portico 5033 is a five-band equalizer with three full parametric filters and one band each of high- and low-shelving filters. Whether applied to a single instrument track, the drum bus or the entire mix, the Portico 5033 plugin will add sonic finesse to your recordings, according to Steinberg.
The RND Portico 5043 plugin is a high-end compressor featuring two entirely different characteristics -- feed-forward and feed-back. By incorporating the punch, warmth, and clarity of its hardware counterpart, this plugin provides high-quality compression for various applications.
You can purchase each plugin individually or purchase them together as a bundled pack. Both plugins are also available as free trial versions, which come with the same range of functionality as the full versions and may be used without limitations for 30 days.
