Steinberg WaveLab 7 Audio-Editing And Mastering Suite Announced
Coming soon, version 7 of the Steinberg WaveLab audio-editing and mastering suite (Mac) will offer many new capabilities and features, including an updated interface, new VST3 plugins and restoration tools, a CD and DVD-A burning engine, and much more.
WaveLab 7's revised GUI concept has a docking and scaling system that allows you to better handle audio material across multiple windows, montages, and Podcasts. Thanks to the new interface and the accompanying customizable window and toolbar management system, workflow is much faster in WaveLab 7.
The suite also includes a restoration tool package provided by Sonnox, comprised of the plugins DeNoiser, DeBuzzer, and DeClicker; plus 29 additional VST3 plugins, including StudioEQ, the Roomworks reverb, three different compressors, a maximizer and limiter, and the Nuendo Post Filter plugin.
WaveLab 7 will be available in the second half of 2010 for 599 EUR or about $803. Learn more at steinberg.net.

wavelab 7 has at least two major features that are worth beeing mentioned: first - threre will be a native mac version! and, second: it has a time stretching function that is mindblowing!
