It's good to know that manufacturers of pro audio gear are beginning to recognize that not all musicians would want to bother studying a lot of detail with regard to recording. The Steinberg CI2 Audio Interface proves that point via instant recording through USB plug and play.  

New to the world of Cubase? Steinberg is now offering an introduction to this popular application with the Steinberg Cubase Essential 5.  

For a period of time, a lot of developers have been getting into creating VST pianos, so much so that they have overtaken Steinberg, the creator of the VST protocol, in this aspect. Getting back into the game of recreating pianos in VST format, Steinberg The Grand 3 has now been announced to ship out to prove why they should be in the piano lead.  

Total control entails total freedom for the one who possesses control. Being able to remotely control your DAW gives you unprecedented latitude with regard to various musical applications. Having that iPhone or iPod Touch just helps you do that as Summer NAMM 2009 saw the debut of the Steinberg Cubase iC.

Like a guy telling the story of the echo of the shot heard round the world, Cubase 5 did show at the 2009 Winter NAMM Show. Even if that's nothing shocking, the popular DAW stands to become more popular with workflow improvements and all the fixings.  

The Steinberg CC121 is made out of magic, or at least that's what I've come to gather from this video. The controller itself keeps things relatively simple with no actual need for wasting time assigning wide loads of knobs. It sweetens the deal with a sweet wheel.  

We check out the Steinberg MR816 CSX, a firewire interface with on-board digital signal processing built with a little help from Steinberg's friends over at Yamaha. It's one of the best things to ever come out of an alliance between the Germans and the Japanese.  

We know that Proletariat Productions prefers using Steinberg Nuendo 4 over Digidesign Pro Tools. Now we get to see it in action with special thanks to SICKFRoWN and their smash hit "The Way."  

We're back at Proletariat Productions with Tristan James, who is no proponent of Pro Tools. He prefers using Steinberg Nuendo, and he gives us an overview of the program as well as some propelling reasons behind this proclivity of his.

Seems Steinberg is fed up with having to rely on other companies to provide audio interfaces to work with their software. They've collaborated with Yamaha in the design of a new audio interface -- the MR816 CRX -- which is made to work seamlessly with Cubase.

Steinberg's focus this Musikmesse seems to be on hardware that makes using their popular Cubase software easier. First, we saw the MR816 FireWire interfaces that work specifically well with Steinberg DAWs. Now the CC121 brings a whole new level of control to Cubase.  

Steinberg has something to say from MusikMesse. In conjunction with Yamaha, Steinberg announces the MR816, a FireWire interface designed to integrate in exciting ways with Cubase 4.  

New England-based Ras Iron Teeth creates music using a variety of software, old gear, new gear and a positive attitude.  

Steinberg introduces Classroom Resource Pack, an educational tool with Cubase 4 and Cubase Studio four specifically made for teachers. With about four straight days of learning material, insomniacs can learn these lessons in more or less four straight days. For everyone else, lesson plans are provided to stretch intuitively over a course.

Mike Levine at Gunpoint Recording Studios talks to us about some of the recording software and plug-ins he uses. Mike is a Steinberg Nuendo user who really likes how quick it is to edit in Nuendo.  

What you play is about what you get at Gunpoint studio where Bob Popp uses his self-built PC to record bands. Bob likens his PC to a tape recorder, keeping recording pure without loads of plug-ins as cover up.
