Anyone who has ever heard a mix played back should know that it is important to check the mix on as many sources as possible. In this video from Skybox Studios, Robert DiFazio shows us the three very different pairs of monitors he helped select and his reasoning behind each one of them.

Of course, the monitor selection starts out with Yamaha NS-10s, which have become almost a given in any studio you'll walk into. Next on the menu, we step up to some JBL monitors with room correction features. Finally, we hit up the big boys -- some Apogee mains that replicate the club experience.
