Submersible Music KitCore 2: Popular Skin Yard Drummer Lends A Stick
The popular Submersible Music KitCore has leveled up to version 2. At its prefix, KitCore still provides great kits and drum sounds without hogging too much of your CPU. Here's what's new.
KitCore has always been about enlisting the aid of modern music's top drummers in many genres for a wide variety of kits. This time, Submersible Music has teamed up with John Tempesta of Helmet for some furious metal kits, and Matt Cameron of Temple of the Dog.
Also making its debut in version 2, Submersible has included a Groove Browser so finding and selecting the grooves you want to use. You can audition grooves in sync with your main recording application, and if they make callbacks, drop the MIDI beat onto your track. You can search for grooves by feel and use queue mode to ensure that your beats and fills will get along before you export them.
The RealDrummer control is also a handy new feature made to humanize your drums. It takes away the mechanism in your accents and silences the dreaded machine gun effect by adding groove to your snare rolls and hi-hats and what have you./p>
