SWR made their booming presence felt at Summer NAMM 2008 with the SWR Marcus Miller Bass Preamp. The new preamp stems from a collaborative partnership with renowned jazz bassist Marcus Miller, who refers to the new preamp as "The missing link between your bass and a great sound!"
The SWR engineers were aided by Marcus with customized features crafted to deliver Miller's tonal array with much thought given to making this preamp useful and accessible to bassists of any musical style.
The preamp itself is a single-channel tube / solid state unit with features like dual selectable inputs, the Marcus Miller modded Aural Enhancer circuit, Tube Direct Out with Pre / Post and Compression position select, a tube-driven three-band active EQ and tube-driven compressor, Bass Intensifier, Boost with volume and compression blend, a mute switch, a side-chain effects loop with blend and a multi-functional footswitch.Visit SWR's official website for more information
