Syntheway Virtual Sitar: VST Instrument

October 26, 2009
Syntheway Virtual Sitar VST instrument emulates the sitar stringed instrument.

Be an Indian Sitar star with Syntheway Virtual Sitar. The Hindustani classical stringed instrument is emulated in all its glory in this VST instrument.

The mastered sitar samples, which were recorded with in a low noise environment, feature full length sustain with natural decay (no looping). The VSTi has 18 predefined sounds along with the usual ADSR envelope generator, room simulation, MIDI automation, and filtering. The multiple-mode filter's values are automatically computed when you select any of the filter types. The Filter switch includes lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch, peak, and a shelving filter with adjustable cutoff and bandwidth. With variable room simulation, you can adjust reverb effects to achieve your desired type of room ambience.

Virtual Sitar also features optimized CPU and memory usage, so it won't plug up your entire rig. For more information, visit Syntheway's Web site.

This is a reveiw?

By: Anonymous Coward

How is tis a reveiw? Did you use the instrument try it out? NO! Its just a description. Sick of sites like this claiming a reveiw that isnt a reveiw. So what did you have to just write something to get your free copy of the software?
