When Patrick Ogle took his Takamine PSF-95 into Third Coast Guitars, owner Chris Eudy helped him with some suggestions to remedy Pat's dislike of the pickup system in the PSF-95. Chris discusses how Takamine's proprietary split-saddle design would make this a slightly more complicated surgery than Pat had hoped.

Fear not, though, as surgery was not the only option. Instead of going under the needle, Chris suggests using an outboard box like LR Baggs' Parametric DI, keeping Pat's options open without opening up his Takamine.
