The 2488 Neo improves upon it's previous incarnations with the inclusion of a suite of mastering effects that'll breath life back into your dull stereo masters and give them a professional sheen. The mastering effects include a multi-band EQ, and compressors and limiters tuned for that final, most important stage in the audio-production process.

The 2488 Neo also features a new look, utilizing the "bold" color scheme of, umm, different shades of gray.

Of course, the NEO still retains the features that have made the 2488s so popular: eight simultaneous inputs including four XLR mic inputs with phantom power, 44.1kHz, 24-bit digital resolution, and 80 GB hard drive, integrated CD burner, USB 2.0 uplink for file transfer to computer, and an easy to understand layout.
