During the cassette to CD transition, CD burning seemed about a tick easier than rocket science. The TASCAM BB-1000CD Portable CD / SD Recorder takes CDs at the twilight of their lives and makes them as recordable as cassettes with the push of a record button.

The BB-1000CD captures sound with four built-in microphones or via on-board XLR mic inputs. The two front and two back mics can be separately trimmed and a 10 watt sound system is built right into the unit. In summation, the BB-1000CD gives you the capability to record uncompressed audio to CD-R / -RW media or WAV or MP3 files to an SD Card, which can be burnt to CD on-board. The XLR mic inputs are phantom powered, and TASCAM's training technology allows for audio to be looped at slower speeds without altering pitch.
