Luke Winslow-King wants his music to resonate. Literally. He uses a National Delphi Resonator (2001 reissue), which Winslow-King says is royalty among the new crop of resonators.  

Yet another in a seemingly unending stream of boutique and one-off guitar amps at RaxTrax Recording in Chicago comes the National Tremo-Tone. As Rick Barnes demonstrates, every one of these amps has its own unique color, character and application.  

Man of steel, Joel Paterson tests his powers in a feat of strength against the Highlander (pickup in his National Delphi Reissue). The Highlander, you see, is the pinnacle of resonator pickups -- unfortunately, poverty-stricken resonator guitarists have to settle for the knock-off brand -- Westender pickups.  

Minneapolis-based The Absent Arch, discuss the guitars they use in their band. They started as a solo project and now have five members. Soon they will be a full orchestra.
