Next week at the NAMM Show, Reverend Guitars will be pulling the curtain on several new guitars: the Eastsider from the Pete Anderson Signature series, the Fifteenth Anniversary Flatroc, and the Sensei RA. Here's a short but sweet preview of the instruments.  

Now you can get a Reverend Thundergun bass in not just black or clear, but Wine Red as well. Also known as the monster of the low-end, the Thundergun sports a set-neck design with Joe Naylor-designed pickups, a Korina body, a string-thru bridge with a top-load option, and much more.  

Like a proud papa escorting his beloved daughter down the aisle*, Reeves Gabrels is set to help introduce the new Reverend Reeves Gabrels Signature Guitar at the upcoming Summer NAMM 2010.

*Don't take that analogy any further than I already have.  

Reverend pulled out all the stops for the fully loaded Six Gun guitar, the latest addition to the Reverend Bolt-On series. Available now, the Six Gun has a T-style bridge pickup, and custom S-style middle / neck pickups.  

Reverend Guitars and legendary guitarist Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie, Tin Machine) have pulled the curtain on their new joint effort, the Reeves Gabrels signature electric guitar.  

Reverend Guitars and Unknown Hinson, the King of Country Western Troubadours himself, have teamed up to produce the new, all-black Unknown Hinson signature guitar.  

The latest addition to Reverend Bolt-On Series of guitars is the new Six Gun guitar, featuring big S tones, a T-style bridge pickup, and much more.  

While hanging out with Sebastien Grainger in the alley next to the Metro (as I often do), our conversation naturally turned to live guitar. Grainger is a relative newcomer to the frontman experience, having lived most of his previous musical life behind a drumset. Now that he's out front, he has discovered that the Reverend Warhawk -- among other Reverend properties -- is what suits him best.  

Oh man, is it national left-hendedness day again already? It must be, because once again Reverend is making a few of their guitars available in lefty models, and this time they're all set-necks: the Reverend Volcano, Reverend Warhawk II 390, and Reverend Roundhouse HB-MF. Be thankful we correct-handers only have to think about lefties once a year.  

You may doubt the news that Reverend is making a select number of their bolt-on guitars available as left-handed models, thinking that we just took a picture of a righty guitar and flipped it in Photoshop. But then we'd have to have made a lasso-selection of the logo, flipped that separately, and reapplied it, filling in the wooden headstock background. . . a whole lot more effort than we're willing to put in. You can always trust a lazy person.  

Q: Why didn't the Reverend Pete Anderson Guitar stand up to the bully?

A: It had no guts!

 

Chuck Norris is such a precise martial artist that he can double tap the second half of "Eruption" with a series of roundhouse kicks.  

Reverend, Reverend, is this some conspiracy? The guitars you make have some sweet, versatile features, but Reverend is still tremendously overshadowed by the two party guitar system. Like the Eugene V. Debs of guitars, I wish Reverend was a less obscure reference.  

Reverend promises that the unique pickup configuration o these two limited editions set-necks -- a bridge humbucker and a GFS Mean 90 in the neck position -- will deliver a tone that they describe as "balls-with-clarity." If that doesn't make you uncomfortable, please, read on.  

Ron Asheton has been delivering the raw, biting licks for Iggy Pop & The Stooges since 1967. It's about time he got his own custom guitar, and Reverend's got a pretty sweet axe with Ron's name on it.  

You can't spell Reverend or Volcano without a "V," so the aptly shaped Volcano guitar brings a stylistic rocker to the Reverend line. Be careful when you play, though, this guitar is hotter than lava.
