Taylor Acoustic Guitar Body Types Walkthrough

Ever wonder why acoustic guitars have different body types? Andy Lund from Taylor Guitars stopped by to give us a crash course in that very subject, to give us an idea of what the different body types sound like, and how to identify them by model type.

Taylor might be best known for their Grand Auditorium body style, but they offer a wide range of traditional shapes as well. The "I was not aware of that" moment from this video: body shape can and does affect the level at which an acoustic guitar "compresses." If you're having trouble deciding which body style you'd like -- and you're concerned with more than just looks -- this video is the perfect buyer's guide.
