In collaboration with Taylor Guitars, Taylor Swift has announced the Taylor Swift Baby Taylor, a compact acoustic guitar specially designed for petite players with small hands. It's based on the original Baby Taylor, but unlike the original, the TSBT features Swift's own lady-like design touches.  

Elegance is an understatement if you check out Taylor Guitars' 35th anniversary. The Taylor Guitars XXXV-GS Series come with all premium items that they belittle the term extravagance.  

Taylor Guitars is celebrating 35 years in the biz with a series of novel instruments. The first in this line is the 9-string Taylor XXXV-9.

We girls love our accessories, and I am discovering that boys love them too; particularly when they come loaded with an array of different electronics arrangements. Now you can have a different guitar for the office, the beach, and a fun evening on the town!  

A result of early collaboration between Bob Taylor and Rupert Neve, the Taylor Expression System has developed into a fine tuned (as it were) tool in Taylor's universe. Mike Ausman from Taylor walks us through the new and improved Expression System at the Taylor Road Show, on their stopover at Chicago Music Exchange.  

The second, and lower priced, new limited edition from Taylor is the 400 Series. Like the 700 LTDs, the 400s offer a rare-wood, high-end guitar at a more than reasonable price. Or more than a reasonable price, depending how loaded you are. And by "loaded" I mean drunk. . . with money!  

Taylor releases, all things considered, a moderately priced high-end acoustic series, the new Taylor 700LTD series. Among the "things considered" are the materials used and the fact they are limited.  

Why, oh why would anyone ever manufacture a guitar that memorialized the terrible Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines? WHY?!?!? Oh, never mind, the Taylor T3 has nothing to do with that abomination.  

At 2008's Winter NAMM Show, the VOX Virage impressed semi-hollowbody fans with its smooth feel and versatile tone. This year, those fans have the Taylor T3 to look forward to adding to their wish lists.  

Midwest Dilemma's album, Timelines and Tragedies, has the sound of a very intimate recording. Yet, this chronicle of Justin Lamoureux's family from Canada to Omaha is both epic in it's conceptual scale and in the sheer size and range of it's lineup.  

Christian Knudsen was looking for a guitar. His penchant for multiple tunings meant he was really looking for two.  

Taylor endorsed artist Ernie Halter shows us his GS8, a guitar he likes for its balanced highs on the high strings and its warm lows. He gives us a little sample at a local saloon.

Matt Ragland of Austin-based Nelo, has been playing either a Martin 000CIe or a Taylor 314. He loves them both but neither was perfect. He went to Taylor for help making that perfect instrument.  

Taylor's Summer NAMM booth was hopping, and we shouldered our way in to check out the acoustic guitar-maker's solid body electrics, T5 acoustic electrics, and "Big Heaping Stack Of Wood Samples™."  

We check out Taylor's booth at Summer NAMM 2008 where the walls are made out of guitars. This year's Fall Limited Edition from Taylor is made from Cocobolo and Koa woods, and it is a beauty.  

Normally I get little weirded out when guitar makers get all excited about announcing they've harvested the "last known stock of 150-year old spalted maple" for a new collector's edition guitar, but the Liberty Tree T5 guitars from Taylor are a little different, to say the least.
