Taylor Guitars Taylor Swift Baby Taylor (TSBT): New Signature Guitar From Taylor Swift
I first saw Taylor Swift at the 2008 NAMM show, where she performed a few sweet pieces on her acoustic guitar for a crowd of about 50 tired convention-goers. The space was small, grey in color and carpeted, and Swift delivered a stellar three-song set. This was shortly before she was picked up by pop and the Jonas Brothers, when she was not yet a household name. Now she's receiving Video Music Awards, earning the apologies of Jay-Z and Beyonce, and debuting a signature guitar.
Taylor Guitars and Swift have announced the Taylor Swift Baby Taylor (TSBT), a compact guitar with full-voiced tone and a top that features Swift's design touches. Based on the Baby Taylor guitar, the TSBT ($398 MSRP) is ideal for players of all levels, especially players with small hands. It's three-quarters the size of a standard dreadnought, with a slim 1 and 11/16-inch neck. This guitar would be great for someone who is normally unable to play a guitar because his or her hands simply don't reach far enough to play it properly.

The TSBT is crafted from a resilient sapele laminate body with a solid Sitka spruce top. Swift's girly design, which encircles the guitar's soundhole, features her expression "Love, Love, Love" among tattoo-like vines. This guitar comes in a cushioned Taylor Guitars gig bag and is available from Taylor Guitars dealers, Amazon.com, and TaylorSwift.com.
