TC Electronic Rebel Stack RS410 (It's The One In The Middle)
With a Rebel Stack, you get more, m. . . is that funny anymore? No, it's not. Speaking of getting serious, the new TC Electronic RS410 is the first 4x10 cabinet in their "Rebel" line of bass amplification. You want a serious 8x10 rig? A RH450 head and a pair of RS410s will have you registering on Richter scales from here to Frankfurt.
Introduced at MusikMesse 2009, the RS410 is the third bass enclosure from TC Electronic, following the RS210 (2x10) and RS212 (2x12). Like its predecessors, the RS410 sports Eminence bas drivers, and adds a level-adjustable hi-frequency tweeter for truly full range operation. Because the Rebel Head RS450 can drive up to three cabinets, the pictured arrangement of RS210, RS410 and RS212 is a real possibility. Of course, the RS410s can also be stacked in pairs for a traditional 8x10 rig, or used individually for a powerful half-stack.
The 8 Ohm, 600W RS410 features Speakon connectors, and a scratch-resistant, non-skid finish that helps cabinets "stick" together. I wish Soundgarden had been coated in the same finish. Then they'd still be together, and the world wouldn't have had to contend with Audioslave.
The TC Electronic RS410 should be shipping in June 2009.
