TeamDNR MixControl Mixing Plugins Go Big Or Small

TeamDNR MixControl is a channel strip package consisting of two mixing plugins.

New from TeamDNR is MixControl (Mac / Win; $79 MSRP), a channel strip package consisting of two mixing plugins (Large and Small). MixControl Large is an all-in-one solution for complex mixing, while MixControl Small has a reduced feature set and smaller interface for general mixing tasks.

MixControl Large offers 64-bit internal processing, low CPU usage, and the following:

  • Two compressor modes (transparent / colored)
  • Three level-detection modes for gate / comp modules
  • Responsive gate
  • Internal gate / comp sidechain modules with various filters
  • Input / Output FFT view with peak hold viewable on EQ display
  • 6-band precision EQ
  • 13 EQ filter types
  • Lowcut 12 dB / 24 dB / 36 dB / 48 dB
  • Highcut 12 dB / 24 dB / 36 dB / 48 dB
  • Low shelf and high shelf
  • Bell (peak), bandpass, and bandstop
  • Brickwall limiter with release control
  • 3-band stereo enhancer with auto makeup and band solo
  • Dynamics processing and metering (envelope follower / peak)
  • Sub-preset loading and saving
  • Background skinning
  • 19,200 sample adjustable delay
  • Phase Invert switch
  • Input / Output gain control
  • MixControl Small, on the other hand, offers some but not all of the Large version's listed features. The MixControl channel strip package is now available in VST and Audio Units formats, and TeamDNR expects Windows x64 versions and Mac VST3 versions to be released in the near future.
