Did we misplace this one or something? Why didn't this go up a week ago? At any rate, here's Crosstalk Episode 51 in it's entirety; a power tube comparison, P90s explained and a look at the best free VSTs around (in our opinions) are just the tip of the iceberg.  

The THD Bi-Valve 30 is an amp for those who are particular about tubes and tone. It is self-biasing, meaning that it allows you switch your tubes out, expanding its tonal possibilities with different preamp and power amp combinations.  

While the internet is more like a series of tubes than some sort of truck, power amplifier tubes are exactly like trucks, in that they handle various loads and are referred to by a different name in England (e.g., "this is my all-lorry JCM 800"). We got our hands on a certain self-biasing guitar head to check out the sonic differences between some of the major power tube types.
