Prowling the Web for the latest band and artist news is no longer necessary, thanks to BandStalker, the new Apple iPhone application created by The Filter (a company co-founded by Peter Gabriel). The app allows you to do exactly what the name implies, which is to stalk your favorite bands and become their number one unwanted bff. It works in conjunction with all the other social networking sites that you currently use to stay current with bands and artists.

The app provides instant access to daily news, concert dates, new YouTube videos, tour information, artist bios, and more. Twitter updates from other fans are also presented, letting you stalk musicians and get to know fellow stalkers at the same time. If only a similar application were available for the Twilight series of books and movies.
