Many bass amplifiers have a simple, effective compression circuit built right into the front end of the amp. John Tomaszewicz wondered why more guitar amps didn't sport the same feature, so he built his own line of high-end amps, called them Tomaszewicz Amplifiers, and installed a one-knob compression circuit into every one.

Tomaszewicz Amps are based on classic tone circuits -- the amps that John loved recording in his studio -- and as such they deliver the sound of classic Rock n' Roll. The compression circuit not only improves the amps' performance in studio, but brings that studio sound out on to the road. Gino Robair interviewed Mr. Tomaszewicz about his amp line and took a listen to one classic-sounding model.
