ToneLux Series 28 Mixing Console: S'Real Purdy (Video)
Hey, if you can build a console to looks as pretty as it sounds, why not? The Tonelux Series 28 analog mixing console ain't cheap — the configuration seen above goes for $50k — but at least designer Paul Wolff keeps aesthetics in mind when envisioning his mixing desk designs. Dig those bamboo sides!
Of course, he also packs the Series 28 console with premium ToneLux preamps and EQ modules, vintage-style metering, and pro options like ShadowMix flying faders. Paul gave us a quick tour of the console's design features.
Also at the show were the new ToneLux V4 500-series rack chassis. These clever designs can be coupled with an extender module for a bit more flexibility than you might get out of another lunchbox rack.

I think this looks like a very nice bit of kit...
even though I am a mastering engineer I still hark back to the days of being behind a mixing console. There is not much kit in the world of audio engineering that is more exciting than a mixing console.
